Tenor Christopher Preston Thompson, who has joined us for our Shakespeare concert, sang the role of the Artist in David Chesky’s new opera, “The Pig, The Farmer and the Artist” in the NYC Fringe Festival. The show won a 2010 Fringe Fest Excellence Award for Best Music and Lyrics and we’re betting it gets picked up for a longer run. Is The Pig… the next Urinetown? Producers were scrambling for tickets on closing night!
Congrats, Christopher! Fabulous work.
